Awards roll in for Nkang

Junior linebacker Chad Nkang continues to receive awards for his outstanding play this season. Nkang was added to the Buck Buchanan watch list, which is awarded to the best defensive 1-AA player. He was also named the National Defensive Player of the Week following his 25 tackle outing against Furman. Nkang is currently one of the national leaders with 112 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, five sacks and two forced fumbles. Nkang has twice as many tackles as Zach McAllister who is second on the team.

Men's Soccer holds charity match

The Men's Soccer team will hold their second annual V-Foundation charity match. The game will take place on Wednesday against UNC-Greensboro. A silent auction will be held at halftime and all proceeds of this auction will go directly to the V-Foundation for cancer research. The auction includes an assortment of autographed jerseys and equipment.
