Phoenix Sports Briefs
Remembrance
We wish to thank you all for your support and kindness
throughout our difficult period. We were not prepared for the
death of a daughter so young. And as parents of a beautiful
daugther like Ann Marie, it was hard to understand why; but,
God knows best. Ettie and I will be returnng to England
shortly, but we will never forget Elon University, and we
promise to be back.
As it is not possible to name everyone, Ettie and I would
like to mention the lovely service, and a special thank you
to Chaplain Richard McBride, Dr. Alan White, Faith Sheaer,
Resa Walsh, Brian Lashley, Kyle Wills, Judy Brumley, coach
Brenda Paul, and everyone that's not mentioned.
Finally a message to her basketball team; coach Lashley was
very proud of you all and was looking forward to this season.
I can now disclose that I know she was expecting a certain
number of wins. It can be achieved with hard work. So go for
it! God Bless you all.
Proud parents of coach Lashley, Keith and Ettie
