Lembo recruits another coach

Ricky Perez was signed Monday as the new wide receivers coach for the Phoenix. Perez served as the Lenoir-Rhyne College assistant coach last year. A graduate of Wake Forest University, played four years for the Demon Deacons as a wide receiver, cornerback and special teams member.

McMoore makes All-League

Sophomore Kitara McMoore earned All-Conference honors from the media and the conference coaches. The coaches select 10 players to the conference team while the media selects a first and second team.

McMoore was named to the first team for both. She led the conference in points per game and rebounding, 14.1 and 9.1, respectively. She also made a personal best of 10 double-doubles. McMoore finished in the top three in many statistical categories, second in field goal percentage, third in offensive rebounds and first in defensive rebounds. McMoore finished 21st in the nation in field goal percentage.
