Colin Powell speak at Spring Convocation. Along with them came their cars. But parking lots are back to normal now after closed parking lots caused headaches for students. Polls show Southeast unprepared for hurricane season A recent Elon University Poll conducted Feb. 20-23 and Feb. 26-March 2 found that more than half of the citizens in five southeastern states have not prepared at all for the 2006 Atlantic hurricane season. The season will last from June 1 through Nov. 30 and is expected to be highly active. Hurricane experts at Colorado State University are predicting five hurricanes of Category 3 or higher. The Pendulum runs organizational briefs free of charge as a service to the Elon community. The Pendulum asks that briefs be informative of upcoming events and should be no longer than 40 words. All briefs should be turned in by 5 p.m. Monday. All information was compiled from March 27 through April 2. These are charges made by the Elon Campus Police and the Town of Elon Police. |
