Journey rocks: today and always

In these days of a music industry dominated by studio-doctored albums, stale drum machine beats, Paris Hilton and lip-synching, it may seem like a struggle to remember the good stuff.


But amid this desert of disappointment, a great oasis of quality music does exist. So what is the name of the band that can quench society’s intense thirst for good music? Journey.

 


Striving to be a better Elon community

For Elon to become one of the finest universities in America, the students’ demeanor must be at a high echelon of quality. There are many caring students in all sectors of this university, including the Greek life system.


Don’t get me wrong, I believe the Greeks at this school are composed of great people who do a lot of service to the community; but it seems that some Greek organizations try to belittle other organizations by claiming their superiority over these groups.

Privacy issues on a private campus

College: the time when we leave our nests, free from over-restricting parents, cut loose to dabble in different things and open to new ideas. 

College students know this period as a time of freedom: one with no restrictions. But how free are college students today? 
Today’s college students are becoming more and more refined, both by the schools security, classmates and even teachers. 
In actuality, college students who live on campus have close to no privacy and are rarely left alone.

Even with all of the construction and other changes made throughout the summer around campus, students were still surprised at the drastic amendments to parking on campus.
