Awareness - Adjust to transition

- Focus on making good
grades
- Visit the Elon Career
Center to learn more about yourself with the
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Campbell Interest and
Skills Survey, and Self-Directed Search; meet with a
career counselor to talk about results of
self-assessment inventories and your career
options
- Attend career
exploration series and other career development
workshops
- Enroll in COE 110 -
"Exploring Careers/Majors"
- Identify majors that
relate to your interests, abilities, and
values
- Participate in
extracurricular activities that enhance your skills
and values
- Get involved in a
service experience - contact the Center for Service
Learning
- Plan early for summer
work or internships/co-ops
- Complete several
information interviews
- Develop computer skills
required by all jobs
