The Career Center offers
many services and resources to help you plan your
career path. Below are a list of these
services/resources and to the left, links to more
information.
Schedule an appointment
with a Career Counselor.
A meeting with one of the
Career Center staff is your best opportunity to
obtain expert assistance with personal career
decisions. While we offer many programs and
events to help you plan your career path and
explore careers, getting to know you personally
can help us direct you to the services/resources
that will be most helpful. This service is
available for all students and alumni. Call

career planning.
1. Learn About
Yourself
Know and understand your
interests, skills, values and personality type.
We offer:

Strong
Interest
Inventory - This survey helps
you identify your career-related interests
and can help identify possible career
options.

Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator - This assessment helps you
understand your personality type and how your
personality preferences impact your career
choices.

Values
clarification - A career counselor can talk
with you to determine your values and how
they fit with a career. Family, money,
travel, lifestyle are some of the values that
impact career satisfaction.
Step 2 - Gain
Experience
