The Elon Challenge (Challenge Course)

The Elon Challenge is an accredited high and low ropes course located on 18 wooded acres at the nearby Elon Retreat Center. Participants work together to go beyond their perceived boundaries, overcome obstacles and experience success in a variety of problem-solving initiatives and ropes course elements. 

Anyone can participate: no special skills or physical abilities are required. The Elon Challenge is operated by trained student and staff facilitators who help participants relate their activities on the course to their everyday experiences at Elon.

A variety of team-building programs are available through The Elon Challenge; half-day full-day, and multi-day programs. The Elon Retreat Center also has an adjacent indoor lodge, picnic shelter, and fire circle which can be reserved. There is no charge for Elon University groups to use The Elon Challenge.
