Purpose: To coordinate and support the multiple organizations at Elon that incorporate civic engagement into their missions; to provide opportunities for these organizations to work together on ideas/projects, thus combining their collective resources and skills.
Mission: To further the institutional mission, particularly the charge to prepare students "to be global citizens and informed leaders motivated by concern for the common good." To look for and provide opportunities for Elon organizations to work together with our community partners. To generate civic engagement outcomes that they, alone, would not be able to accomplish. To search for resources to support this work.
