Greek Life at Elon University

Congratulations on making the decision to learn about fraternity and sorority life at Elon University! Your years here at Elon will include many exciting learning experiences, one of which may include becoming a member of a Greek organization. The fraternity and sorority community at Elon has enhanced the lives of thousands of men and women. Fraternity and sorority life can add many valuable dimensions to your college experience.

The Office of Greek Life at Elon University provides guidance and support to 23 international fraternities and sororities. At Elon, we offer a diverse mix of fraternities and sororities with the hopes that everyone who wants to join a group finds one that closely matches their values and personalities. While our groups support different philanthropies and causes, and have different histories and traditions, all of our fraternities and sororities support brotherhood or sisterhood, high scholastic goals, service to the community, leadership on campus and beyond, and the betterment of individuals.

The Elon Greek community consists of three governing councils: the Panhellenic Council, the Interfraternity Council, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. These three councils provide a governance structure for the 23 chapters, and the overall direction of the community is guided by the professional staff in the Office of Greek Life.

Please browse our website for more information about our current Greek community and the programming and service efforts of our chapters and students.
