The progress and community impact of all fraternity and sorority chapters at Elon University is reviewed annually through an evaluation program. Formally known as the Standards of Excellence, Elon University Greek Life will be implementing a new Chapter Accreditation Program to evaluate and recognize chapters that meet and exceed our community-wide standards for fraternities and sororities. All chapter presidents and emerging leaders will be trained on this new program during the Greek Leaders Retreat, February 3-5, 2012.
Each May, the Office of Greek Life recognizes chapters and Greek students who deserve recognition in the areas of scholarship, service, philanthropy, leadership, and programming. We also recognize faculty members and faculty/staff advisors who have made a substantial impact on the lives, careers, and fraternity/sorority experience of our students. All chapters have the opportunity to nominate members for individual awards, and apply for chapter awards. More information and applications for awards will be available in April 2013.
