House Captain Application Process 2015-2016

The 2015-2016 House Captain application process is now open!  The House Captain role is an integral leadership position within every organization with an on campus house.  House Captains are role models in the house and serve as liaisons to the Office of Greek Life concerning facility policies, house management and community-building events.

Please refer to the position description below or attend an interest session for more information. Attending an interest session to learn more about the position is highly encouraged. Any member who will be enrolled through the Spring 2015 semester is eligible to be the House Captain.  All interested members are encouraged to apply.

House Captain Selection Timeline 2015-16

Monday, November 10th (time TBD) – Info session (optional, but highly encouraged)
Friday, November 14 – House Captain applications due to the Office of Greek Life by 5 pm
November 17-25 – Candidate interviews (approx. 15-20 minutes each)
December 1-2 – Candidates notified of decisions

To Apply:

1. Attend optional info session / review job description
2. Complete application and submit to the Office of Greek Life
3. Print off two reference forms and deliver them to (1) Chapter President and (2) current/former House Captain or other chapter executive officer.  Completed references should be in a signed and sealed envelope and delivered by the person completing the reference to the Office of Greek Life, Moseley Center 224 or 2971 Campus Box.  You will need to communicate with your references when you would like the form to be completed and submitted.  The last day references will be accepted is Monday, November 17, 2015.
