Appeal to Participate

The Interfraternity Council’s seven fraternities have all made a commitment to scholarship and academics.  The Interfraternity Council has set a GPA minimum of 2.7 in order to participate in any recruitment activities.  Exceptions are granted in rare cases when there are extreme extenuating circumstances. However please be aware that the Office of Fraternity & Sorority life will still report the University-verified GPA, and granting an appeal does not guarantee an invitation to join a fraternity.

All appeals must be approved by the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life, Dan Faill. Appeals may be emailed to fsl@elon.edu including the name, datatel number and reasoning of the student. No appeals will be granted after Wednesday, September 30.
