Registration for Men’s IFC Recruitment will be open until noon on Thursday, September 15th. No late registrations will be accepted. The cost for participation in IFC recruitment is $30.00, payable by credit card at the time of registration.
1. All undergraduate male students, who obtain at least a 2.8 cumulative grade point average after a minimum of 12 credit hours at Elon University and are in good standing with the University, are eligible to participate in fraternity recruitment. Transfer students who have lived on campus for at least one academic year at another institution and meet the 2.8 GPA requirement are also eligible to participate.
2. All participants must complete registration and pay the $30 registration fee online to be eligible to receive a bid.
The Interfraternity Council’s eight fraternities have all made a commitment to scholarship and academics. The Interfraternity Council has set a GPA minimum of 2.8 in order to participate in any recruitment activities. Exceptions are granted in rare cases when there are extreme extenuating circumstances. However please be aware that the Office of Fraternity & Sorority life will still report the University-verified GPA, and granting an appeal does not guarantee an invitation to join a fraternity.
All appeals must be approved by the Interfraternity Council. Appeals may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org including the name, datatel number and reasoning of the student. The deadline for submitting appeals in 11:59 pm on Monday, September 12th.

Saturday, September 17th
1:00–4:00 pm: All chapters will host three-hour open events in their Loy houses during this time. PNM’s are encouraged to visit as many chapters as they would like during this time.
4:00–6:00 pm: IFC Tailgate – All chapter members and PNM’s are invited to stop by the IFC Tailgate tent on Bank of America Drive before the football game. Food will be provided, and NO alcohol will be allowed during the tailgate.

2:00–5:00 pm: Bids will be distributed by chapters to students at their residences.
7:00-8:00 pm: Bid Signing Ceremony for any student who receives and plans to accept a bid – Location TBD
8:00 - 11:00 pm: Individual chapters may host bid celebrations or ceremonies during this time. All activities need to be complete by 11pm.
Fraternities have the ability to and are encouraged to recruit 365 days a year. All recruitment events should follow the risk management policies of the individual organizations and of the University and are to be alcohol free.
