Final conference program

We’re looking forward to seeing you all this coming weekend at Elon University! As a reminder, registration/check in begins at 10am on Saturday, April 13th in McKinnon Lobby in Moseley Center (number 28 on campus map) and ends at 12pm. Speakers are also asked to check in at the registration/info table. Bag lunches will be served from 11am-12:30pm and optional campus tours will be available to early arrivals. The conference begins promptly at 12pm.

You’ll find directions to campus here. Please plan to park in either the Moseley Center or McMichael parking lots (see campus map). Parking is free and is rarely a challenge on our campus. The entire conference will be held in Moseley Center.

We encourage you to wear your peer education program t-shirts on Saturday; casual dress is recommended throughout the conference, including for dinner, awards, and dancing on Saturday evening. We have communicated all dietary needs of which we are aware to catering staff, who typically do a wonderful job accommodating diverse needs.

Please contact Jordan Perry with any questions.

Area 12 at Elon's Frequently Asked Questions

How should I dress for this conference?
Formal wear at all times. Just kidding! Sport your peer education group or school t-shirt on Saturday if you’d like. Casual dress is recommended for the awards dinner/dance party.

Where can I park?
You can park in any space in the Moseley Center parking lot. If there are no spots remaining (which is unlikely), you can park just across the street in the McMichael lot.

How do I access wireless internet?
View wireless networks -> select elonu-guest -> user name is gstd0f5jp -> password is Mfrkvu83 (note: the password is case sensitive; this guest account will only be active April 13th and 14th).

I am vegan/gluten free/allergic to ____. What is there for me to eat?
We have done our best to accommodate all dietary needs and have communicated all needs of which we were aware to catering staff. If you have a specific need, please alert catering staff (in black) and they will be able to assist you.

I’m hungry and we won’t be eating for another few hours. Where can I grab a snack?
Octagon Café is just down the hall in Moseley Center. They offer a variety of pre-packaged and made to order food and drinks.

I carry a reusable water bottle. Where can I fill up?
There is a filtered filling station just across from the women’s bathrooms down the hall outside of McKinnon Hall.

Speaking of bathrooms…Where are the bathrooms?
Down the hall to your right as you walk out of McKinnon Hall. The women’s bathroom is first on your left. The men’s bathroom is further down the hall, also on the left.

I prefer to use gender neutral bathrooms. Where are those?
Upstairs Moseley Center. Once you go upstairs, follow the hall to the left then make a right turn in front of the Multicultural Center. Keep going for about 50 yards and the gender neutral bathrooms are on your right.

Uh-oh. I’m sick/injured. What do I do?
