Ginette Archinal, MD

Dr. Archinal attended medical school in Sydney, Australia, and after graduation worked in Sydney and Canberra, where she obtained further qualifications in OB/GYN and Family Planning.  After moving to London, England, she completed her Family Practice training and also obtained further qualifications in pediatrics.
After moving to the US, she completed a Family Practice Residency Program through Emory University and then moved to North Carolina where she worked for Duke University before opening her own practice in Cary, NC.  She moved to Burlington in the summer of 2011 and currently still works in a private practice in the mornings.
She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and her specific interests in medicine are patient education, preventive health care, and women’s health.
 

Ann Amyot, FNP

Ann first earned a BS degree in Cell Biology from University of Rochester, Rochester, NY.  She then pursued a Certificate in Medical Technology and worked in a hospital Chemistry laboratory for 3 years.  Ann decided to advance her education and earned a RN, MSN, and a Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in 1999.  She then discovered the warm and friendly state of North Carolina.  Before coming to Elon University, Ann worked at a private Family Practice clinic in Elon for 3 years.  Ann joined the University community in 2003 and has also worked part-time at Planned Parenthood and MinuteClinic.  She enjoys providing education and promoting wellness with a focus on Women’s Health.
She currently lives in Mebane with her husband and 2 boys who keep her busy while not at work with soccer, lacrosse, basketball and Cub Scouts.  She would love to travel internationally in the future.
 

Heather Ratcliffe, PA-C

As a native of Detroit, Michigan, Heather completed an undergraduate degree with a double major in Chemistry and Biology at Pembroke State University. She then completed Physician’s Assistant studies at East Carolina in 2001. Initially starting out in vascular surgery, she later moved over to emergency medicine in 2003. Heather has practiced at Alamance Regional Medical Center ER for the last 9 years. She is married to her husband, Todd, and they live on a farm in Alamance County with her horses.

Clinical Interests:
Interventional oncology with evaluation, imaging and treatment of cancer through embolization, thermal ablation, and cryoablation, including palliative care of benign, malignant, and metastatic bone and soft-tissue tumors; Arteriovenous malformations in pediatrics and adults including evaluation, imaging and treatment through sclerotherapy and embolization; Pulmonary arteriovenous malformation embolization; women’s health including clinical evaluation, imaging and endovascular treatment of fibroids, adenomyosis and pelvic congestion syndrome; venous and arterial interventions, including evaluation, imaging and endovascular treatment of central venous and arterial pathology.
 

Vicki Wood, FNP

Vicki obtained degrees in both Health and Exercise Science and Nursing prior to earning her Master of Science in Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from East Carolina University.  Her focuses and passion lie in health promotion, wellness and women’s health.  She is most rewarded by educating patients to understand their own health and disease processes and promoting autonomy in their health.  She is an Alamance County native and resides here with her husband and 2 year-old son.
