The Cannon Legacy impacts us all. Each of us has a voice that wants to be heard, a voice that represents others when they cannot speak. The Cannon Legacy means standing alone when no one will stand with you. The Cannon Legacy is fighting for what you believe to be right. The Cannon Legacy is being an advocate for change. But above all, The Cannon Legacy is taking action not because you’re told to do so, but because you have a desire and deep passion to make a difference for the common good.

We look to our alumni for the evidence of how the Isabella Cannon Leaders Program molds students into the leaders they can become. With more than 500 alumni across the nation, the networking and building foundations are solid.

Cannon Leadership Foundation
We want to compliment Dr. Cannon’s generous gifts so that we may strengthen the programming of the Center for Leadership.

Leadership Common Good Grants
This is a naming opportunity to deepen and enrich the impact of the culminating Legacy Project.

Leadership Internship Grants
This is a naming opportunity to provide a undergraduate to benefit from a Leadership Immersion Experience.

Hilaire C. Pickett Leadership Grant 
The family of a 2008 graduate of the program generously gave a $50K Challenge Grant to other alumni to match. Dr. Cannon always taught us that a small amount of effort can impact a huge amount of people “Think Globally, Act Locally”. If each Alumni contributes $120 we would match the $50k challenge. This is a dollar for each year of the University. To make your donation click here.

2. Next to “I wish my funds be applied to:” click on the drop-down box and choose “Other – please indicate in the box below”.
3. In the box labeled “Additional comments or questions related to this donation:” type "Cannon Leadership Legacy Fund."

If you prefer to pay by check, please make your check payable to “Elon University” and mail it to: Elon University, 2600 Campus Box, Elon, NC 27244. Be sure to include a note that your payment should be credited to the "Cannon Leadership Legacy Fund."
