Are you interested in making an impact on the religious and spiritual life on Elon's campus during 2009-2010?

Would you like to see a particular spiritual leader come to our campus? Are you interested in helping with weekly Chapel or planning workshops, panel discussions or retreats? Then you should be a Truitt Center Program Intern.

As a TC Intern, you will be asked to work closely with the Truitt Center staff and other student Interns to plan and promote each aspect of your program area. Positions are for one academic year and students should consider these positions as their primary leadership roles on campus and a priority in their schedules.

The student interns will come from diverse sectors of campus life, and do not need to have prior experience in Elon’s religious life groups or in the Religious Studies curriculum. Each student will receive an annual stipend of $2000 ($1000 each semester toward tuition or stipend) and a one-time travel grant of $1000 to participate in a study abroad course approved by the Truitt Center staff.

Important Dates

February 17 and February 18, 4:30-5:00 pm: choose an information meeting to attend at the Truitt Center.
February 27: Application and References are due by 5 pm in the Truitt Center. Mail to 2960 Campus Box or deliver to the Truitt Center.
March 11: Group dinner meeting for all applicants, 5:30 - 7:30 pm, location tba.
