THE WALK - "Building authentic relationships that reveal the love of Christ in our everyday lives." THE WALK is an emerging style church (a little beyond contemporary) and a reconciling community which means THE WALK is a member of the open and affirming Reconciling Ministies Network. Worship is led by a band playing the type of music you would hear on the radio and we meet each week at 9am and 11am on Sundays. At THE WALK we also believe that church and being the church is not limited to one hour on Sunday mornings. We are constantly going beyond our walls to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. We encourage you to check out our web site which is very reflective of who we are an who we are trying to become. We invite you to come walk with us!

Front Street United Methodist is a congregation that takes seriously the words of Jesus in the Great Commandment:  "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind...(and) your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:37-39).  We devote our hearts and souls to God through our worship on Sundays (traditional services at 8:45 am & 11 am in the sanctuary; informal service at 9 am in Aldersgate Gym).  We shape our minds through Christian formation (a variety of Sunday School classes,  seasonal small groups, "Wonderful Wednesday" programs in the Fall and Spring, small groups, etc).  We reach out to our neighbors through missional ministries (Habitat for Humanity, Wheelchair Ramp Ministry, Environmental Justice Team, Mission Trips, Azalea Park Ministries, etc.). Our informal service features a praise band led by Clay Stevenson, Lecturer in Music at Elon University.   We would love for you to be a part of our congregation .... Come check us out!
