Residence Life

Fraternity & Sorority Housing

General Information

Information Session:  8:30 - 9:30 PM on February 11, 2015 in Lakeside 214

If you are a member of a fraternity or sorority and you are interested in residing in your chapter facility in the Loy Center for the 2015-2016 academic year, please contact your current chapter house manager or president for information. Each chapter has the responsibility to select those members who will reside in the chapter facility, therefore your chapter house manager or president are your best resources to guide you through the process. All fraternity & sorority housing is overseen by Jordan King, Assistant Director of Greek Life, or 336.278.7326.

Fraternity & Sorority Process

Individual students wishing to live in fraternity or sorority housing must pay a $200 housing reservation fee by 5:00 PM on February 16, 2015. No receipt is needed. This fee can be paid over the phone (336.278.5300), online, or a check or credit card can be brought to the bursar's office (Alamance 113). Once the housing reservation fee payment is made it takes roughly 24 hours to process. Students will need to plan accordingly when applying for housing.

The office of Greek life will host a meeting on the above date and time to finalize the rooming roster. The rooming roster will be submitted by the chapter president to the office of Greek life at that time.

The fraternity & sorority housing process will be completed prior to phase one of the residence life housing process. If you have questions please contact your chapter house manager, chapter president or the office of Greek life (336.278.7326).
