Living-Learning Community Information

In order to participate in selection you must pay the bursar's office a $200 housing reservation fee. No receipt is needed. This fee can be paid over the phone (336.278.5300), online, or a check or credit card can be brought to the bursar's office (Alamance 111). This fee must be paid before accessing the via Ontrack. 

Once the housing reservation fee payment is made it takes roughly 24 hours to process. Students will need to plan accordingly when applying for housing. Students will not be able to log in to the housing applications for roughly 24 hours after they submit their payment.

Students must complete and submit the learning community online application. It will be sent to their respective learning community advisor.

Application Process

• The application includes a 1-2 page essay so students are advised to begin the application as early as possible.
• Students who currently belong to a community and wish to return must re-apply.
• Learning community applications can be found online and submitted between 8:00 AM on January 29, 2013 and 4:00 PM on February 11, 2013.

Assignments

Students will be notified of their status by the learning community advisor before or on February 19, 2013. The assignments will also be posted on Ontrack on February 19. Students not accepted into a learning community will need to proceed to phase one or phase two.
