Living-Learning Community Information

In order to participate in selection you must pay the Bursar's office a $200 housing reservation fee. No receipt is needed. This fee can be paid over the phone (336.278.5300), online, or a check or credit card can be brought to the Bursar's office (Alamance 113). This fee must be paid before accessing the application via Ontrack

Once the housing reservation fee payment is made it takes roughly 24 hours to process. Students will need to plan accordingly when applying for housing. 

Students must complete and submit the learning community online application via Ontrack. It will be sent to their respective learning community advisor.

Application Process

  • The application includes a 1-2 page essay so students are advised to begin the application as early as possible.
  • Students who currently belong to a community and wish to return must re-apply.
  • Learning community applications can be found online and submitted between 8:00 AM on January 9, 2015 and 5:00 PM on February 9, 2015.

Students will be notified of their status before or on February 23, 2015. The assignments will also be posted on Ontrack. Students not accepted into a learning community will need to proceed to another portion of housing selection. Once you have been accepted to a living learning community, this is your final assignment for the academic year. You will be unable to go through any other portion of housing selection once you are accepted into an LLC. Please be sure you are willing to committ to the community before you apply. 

Location and Advisor Information 2015-2016
