Residence Hall and Apartments: Academic Village

The Academic Village is home to two residence halls that each house 22 students in a co-ed design (same gender by suite) with two bedrooms that share a bathroom. Each building has two classrooms as well as a kitchen/lounge area.

The Honors Pavilion was built in 2002. It is named in honor of William R. Kenan Jr., a chemist and industrialist with wide-ranging businses interests. It is home to the Honors Learning Community (Honors Fellows).

The Isabella Cannon Pavilion was built in 2002. It is named in memory of Isabella Cannon '24, the first female mayor of Raleigh and a longtime beneficiary of Elon. Starting fall 2013, it is home to the Elon College Fellows Learning Community. It also houses a Teacher Scholar In Residence apartment.
