Description:
Bringing honors students together in one house in order to
promote commitment to the honors program and success at Elon.
The facility creates, cultivates, and sustains an atmospher
for shared academic purpose as well as strong ties with
fellow students and honors faculty.

Classes and other educational and social events are held in
the pavilion

Fellows Learning Community?
Students must be accepted into the Honors Program. Juniors
and Seniors residing in the pavilion will be required to have
a minimum 5 meal plan; freshman and sophomores must have a
15, 19 or unlimited meal plan.
What is the facility like?
The William R. Kenan Jr. Honors Pavilion in the Academic
Village includes:
1 classroom
1 Seminar Room
Lounge/Kitchen (kitchen may only be used for making snacks,
occasional meals and food for community events - not for
preparation of regular daily meals).

apply?
Freshman: Mark YES on question 7 of the Freshman
Online Housing Application and answer the 3 essay questions
attached to the application.
Returning Students: Contact the Faculty or Staff
Advisor(s) for the community, attend the Learning Communities
Information Meeting, complete the application in March,
during the Housing Selection process.
