MicroFridge: Have a microwave and
refrigerator all-in-one waiting for you in your room for
$160.00 per year. These unique designed units are
the only microwaves allowed in residence halls (except in
kitchenette space in Danieley). To rent a MicroFridge, please

Extra Long Sheets: All our
mattresses take extra-long sheets. Order soon for the best
colors, and help the Resident Student Association raise funds
in the process. You can log on at www.rhl.org/elc or call
1-800-957-4338.
Carpet:
Elon
campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity sponsors carpet sales
through a company called On Campus Marketing. You
can make your purchase directly at www.ocm.com/elc.
Phone Service: A hall phone is
available in each residence hall or common area for
emergencies and on-campus dialing. To make long
distance calls, a student may take advantage of one or more
of the following options:
Resource Book: Elon students and
parents may purchase the book, The Naked
Roommate: And 107 Other Issues You Might Run Into in
College. The book is recommended nationally by
many colleges and universities, and its goal is to help
students talk to each other about issues and establish
communication that will avoid roommate conflicts.
Mail
Services: Campus
mailboxes are assigned in June & July. If you are
going to send packages and boxes for the opening of the
semester, you can go to Mail Services Web site at www.elon.edu/mail for the
proper addressing format.
Renter's
Insurance: While Elon
University cannot and does not cover students' lost,
stolen or damaged property; we certainly recognize your need
for ensuring the safety of your property. Elon University is
a safe and caring environment, but, like your home, it still
requires forethought about protecting personal belongings. We
encourage you to look over the website, talk to your
insurance agent and consider some form of renter's
insurance. To find out more about renter's insurance,
