Isabella Cannon International Studies Pavilion
Description:
This pavilion brings students with international interests
together in order to promote cross-cultural awareness. The
facility:
-
creates, cultivates, and sustains an atmosphere for
international learning while living in a multicultural
environment;
-
creates an atmosphere that encourages study abroad for
its residents and promotes study abroad and cultural
undestanding to the larger campus community;
-
encourages conversational use of the languages taught
and studied on campus for the residents and for the
larger community.

Classes and other educational and social events are held in
the pavilion.
Who will live in the International Studies
Pavilion?
Students have lived across the globe. Students must show
interest in the International Community and either major in
International Studies, International Business or Foreign
Languages; have studied abroad; or be international students.
Juniors and seniors residing in the pavilion will be required
to have a minimum 5 meal plan; freshmen and sophmores must
have a 15, 19, or the unlimited meal plan.

The Isabella Cannon International Studies Pavilion in the
Academic Village includes:
1 Classroom
1 Seminar Room
1 Student Lounge/Kitchen
11 Double Occupancy Rooms for students

Returning Students: Contact the community
advisor(s) and complete an application during the annual
online housing selection process.
Incoming Freshmen: Select YES on the
Freshman Online Housing Application and answer the essay
question and submit it.
