Validation Sheets

We want to hear what you are doing in the community. At the end of each academic year, on behalf of the University, the Kernodle Center for Service Learning publishes an End of Year Service Report that highlights stories about what students at Elon University have been doing to strengthen the community.

For our office to be able to showcase what you have been doing in this End of Year Service Report, please fill out the appropriate validation sheet each time you volunteer. Fill out and return all validation sheets to the Elon Volunteers! office (Moseley 230) as soon as the sheets are completed. Validation sheets must be turned in to have your service hours posted on your Elon Experiences Transcript.

Some guidelines:

• Validating service hours falls under Elon’s Honor Code. Please only record hours for legitimate service activities. Please submit any restitution hours to the Office of Judicial Affairs, using their pre-approved form.
• Please round to the nearest quarter-hour (e.g. , 1.25 hours; 4.75 hours.)
• Your service will show up on your Elon Experiences Transcript by the beginning of the following semester.
• Please remember to include datatel numbers.
