 Vera Richardson Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life Opened: 2004 Named For: Vera Richardson Truitt by Douglas G. Noiles and Edna Truitt Noiles '44. Truitt sent all six of her daughters to Elon College. The Truitt Center provides a place for spiritual growth and interfaith exploration. The Center includes a conference room and The Oasis, a place for prayer and meditation. Behind the building is the Community Garden. The vegetables from the garden are given to a local homeless shelter. Click on a building you wish to explore
