Italy conference (post)
We're back! Whew that was an interesting trip. I did make it to the Volta museum but not to Milan much, so no Leonardo Science Museum. The Tempio Volta was cute. They had about a million ancient exhibits in glass cases and this self-guided walking tour with a paper handout. Many of the exhibits, especially near the end, were mis-labelled (wrong numbers next to them in the display cases) which made deciphering the paper handout interesting, to say the least.
My to-do list is literally about 20 times longer than it was when I left (i.e. it had 2 items on it, now it has 40 - ha ha). I'll be around the rest of the summer, but probably not in the office so if you need me, electronic contact is the way to go.
