Nutshell: We will inch forward to different, expensive devices that combine the function of serveral devices into one and reasearch will drive us forward to better lives where we can pay more tax and excess fees for things we don't need. The world isn't interested in going ahead to bigger and better things; each person looks forward to his big and better wallet. Those who don't care aren't to have anything to do with the internet because they won't survive, with the exception of those at Google.
