Applications Technologies is composed of two very active sections: Administrative Computing and Web Technology.

Administrative Computing supports the business application system through systems, programming, and user support. We provide support for Ontrack as well as for the student system (Academic Advising, Admissions, Bursar, Financial Planning, Registrar, Residence Life, Student Life, etc.), the financial system (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, etc.), the human resource/payroll system, and the benefactor system (Alumni and Friends, Advancement Officers).

Administrative Computing wrote On-Line Housing this past year for returning students.  We have added some things to ontrack such as students can download their class schedules into outlook, ical, or any calendar program,

The Web Technologies department develops self-service online applications for Elon students, faculty, staff, and the community. These applications provide an always-on service experience for our users and allow our administrative offices to operate more efficiently.  Many of these applications are developed internally (ElonPhoenix.com, Housing & Parking Registration, Application for Admission, Event Registration, Study Abroad Registration, and more), and other applications are customized implementations from third-party vendors (OnTrack , eBill Tuition Payment , Print Services, Phoenix Card Online Card Office, and more).
