Local student graduates from Elon University

Matthew Pierre Amendola graduated from Elon University on May 22, 2020, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration after majoring in Finance.

More than 1,400 students received degrees on May 22 during a conferral ceremony streamed online that featured remarks by President Connie Ledoux Book and other university leaders as well as musical performances by members of the class. A formal on-campus Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020 will be scheduled in the future.

Amendola is the son of Mr. Russell Amendola and Mrs. Mara S. Amendola of Halesite, NY, and Ms. Christele Amendola and of Huntington, NY.
