Description: The North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center is a program that makes a difference! We are a PATH Premier Accredited Center located on 28 acres in Mebane, NC. Our staff and many dedicated volunteers work diligently toward the common goal of helping children and adults with special needs through equine assisted activities.

Best Times for Volunteers: Typically our classes are offered Monday -Friday. We also have many special events on weekends.

Notes: Volunteer orientation is required. Horse experience is welcome but not necessary. Interns also have have the opportunity to work in many aspects of our non-profit.
