Description: To provide opportunities in therapeutic, Recreation Therapy and educational experiences to people with and without disabilities to empower and enhance their quality of life. Service learners should expect to have contact with clients and scheduling arrangements are made for those opportunities. Often service experiences include: interaction with the small staff and students will gain a better understanding of how a non-profit operates, and the care and feeding of the animals used in therapy. (horses, dogs, cats and other farm animals) Tuesdays/Wed. PAAWS program: Pet Therapy at area nursing facilities and agencies. Times: Tuesday mornings (9:30 or 10:00 am) Afternoons between 1:30 and 3:00 with varying hours weekly. 7:30 a.m. Prepare animals to go to facilities. Thursday(pm)-Saturday am Riding therapy Site is open Tuesday - Friday 9:00am -5:30pm, Saturday: 8:30-1:00 p.m
