  1. Elon ranked among top producers of Peace Corps volunteers

    Among medium-sized colleges and universities, Elon ranked No. 16 for the number of Peace Corps volunteers it produced in 2017. Last year, Elon Law launched a new fellows program to help returned Peace Corps volunteers become lawyers. 

  2. KCSL: Alamance County Walk to End Alzheimer's

    Volunteers needed on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Day of walk vounteer opportunities range from event set-up, registration, parking, walk route support, refreshment station, t-shirt station, start and finish line cheerleaders, and breakdown.   3. Mentors needed for girls programs on campus

    Alamance Girls in Motion, a program for fourth- and fifth-grade girls offering health education, physical activity and mentorship, and Girls to Empowered Teens, a similar program for sixth- and seventh-grade girls, will be starting at the end of September and are in need of Elon female students to volunteer as mentors. 

  4. KSCL: The Great Cape Escape

    In this run, every runner is a hero, because each runner is bringing attention to The Open Door Clinic of Alamance County, a free clinic for citizens of Alamance County who are in need of health care and without means to receive care otherwise.

  5. KCSL: Become a Youth Mentor Volunteer

    Alamance County Dispute Settlement and Youth Services is in need of volunteer youth mentors to build positive relationships with young people in the community.

  6. KCSL: Volunteer at Family Abuse Services

    The Family Abuse Services is looking for a student volunteer to assist them with their front desk. This would allow the student to get a comprehensive view of how FAS works.
