Elon Men's Club Basketball hosted Wake Forest University this past weekend, coming up victorious with a win of 41-33.
The game was a hard-fought, physical battle. The scoring was low due to a very physical presence exhibited by both teams. Elon’s team was a bit shorthanded, but everyone who participated was a key contributor to the team’s success. Elon out-rebounded Wake Forest, and also had a better rate of scoring from the 3-point arc (30 percent as opposed to Wake Forest’s 15 percent), as well as playing tough in the face of pressure defense. Elon will travel to Wake Forest on the 18th for a rematch!
