The Elon Club Baseball team took part in the 2014 Greenville Fall Invitational in Greenville, S.C. the weekend of Nov. 8-9. After losing to ECU in the championship game last year, the team looked to make it back to the championship game once again this year to get another shot at the title. Unfortunately, Elon lost to UNC-Wilmington in the semifinal game by a score of 6-4. Elon won all three pool-play games against Radford, NC State, and William and Mary. A tough way to end the fall season, but there was plenty for the team to be proud of from this past weekend. We fought hard and never gave up and certainly impressed a lot of teams heading into the spring season.
