“Providers Caring for Adolescents with Perinatally-Acquired HIV: Current Practices and Barriers to Communication about Sexual and Reproductive Health” was based on research Albright conducted as a Lumen Scholar and Elon College Fellow.

Their findings indicate that further work must be done to identify strategies to address unmet sexual and reproductive health needs of the aging population of young adults born with HIV, a population that is growing in number as more people survive through careful management of the disease.

Albright, a public health studies major at Elon, is currently a graduate student in the University of Virginia’s clinical psychology program.
