For the first time ever, Elon Women’s Club Volleyball attended the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation National Tournament, which was held April 9-11 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The team included 12 players and was accompanied by its advisor, Assistant Professor Jen Platania. Elon competed in Division II with 38 other teams. After nine matches over three days, the Elon team took home first place in the Silver Bracket. Athletes are proud of their accomplishment and all of the hard work it took to get to the tournament — they are hoping to compete at Nationals again in 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.
