Sigma Phi Epsilon hosts renowned auto dealer and entrepreneur Bernie Moreno – April 27

Moreno will speak to students and faculty in LaRose Digital Theater on April 27 at 6 p.m.

On Monday, April 27, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity hosts Bernie Moreno as he speaks to students, faculty and staff about his success in the automotive industry. Moreno received the Midwest Region Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst & Young in 2011.

Moreno will speak at 6 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theater inside the Koury Business Center. After the presentation, he will field questions from faculty and staff on the topics of entrepreneurship and customer service.

Since its establishment in 2005, The Bernie Moreno Companies has acquired a variety of dealerships in luxury automotive brands including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Aston Martin, Maserati and Lotus. It also represents brands like Infiniti, Volkswagen, Buick, and GMC in dealerships throughout the greater Cleveland area and Cincinnati.

Moreno, the company’s founder and president, graduated from the University of Michigan in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has spent over 30 years quickly becoming one of the most recognized names in the automotive industry. Moreno is currently the president of The Bernie Moreno Companies and owner of 31 unique car dealerships throughout the United States.

Faculty and staff are welcome at 5:15 p.m. to speak with Moreno before the doors open for students at 6 pm.
