Elon students also remarked on the university’s small classes that “facilitate relationships with professors.” In remarking on strong faculty mentorship, one student said, “the relationships between students and professors is so strong and personal, and has really shaped my college experience.” Professors are described as “enthusiastic,” “engaging,” “kind” and “very experienced.”

Another student said that, “Elon pays attention to the WHOLE student—not just grades, athletics, or involvement” and academics here are “all about connections, whether between individuals, groups or simply concepts.”

Elon survey results found that classroom and library facilities are great and there are plentiful opportunities for internships and career services.

“The Best 380 Colleges” is one of the top-selling college guides, profiling only about 15 percent of the nation’s four-year colleges that are the best for undergraduate education. The guide includes ranking lists of top-20 schools in 62 categories.

The lists are entirely based on The Princeton Review’s student survey, which asks students to rate their own schools on several topics and report on their campus experiences.

This is the 13th year in a row that Elon has appeared in the Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” guide. The Princeton Review is an education services company known for its test-prep courses, tutoring, books, and other student resources. Headquartered in Natick, Massachusetts, the company is not affiliated with Princeton University.
