KCSL: Become a Youth Mentor Volunteer

Alamance County Dispute Settlement and Youth Services is in need of volunteer youth mentors to build positive relationships with young people in the community.

Everyone needs people in their lives to develop positive personal relationships with, to help them learn successful life skills, and to assist them in finding and using resources. Be that person, be a mentor!

Youth are challenging, BUT you will be supported by the program and a team approach to support developing strategies for success!  Mentor and Mentee (match) will be partnered with another mentor and mentee (match). Your team will meet monthly to review your match’s progress and identify resources to maintain and increase successes! A few hours a week can establish a meaningful friendship with a youth! Our youth need help to grow in a more positive direction, and you can do this!

Mentoring starts on Sept. 10, 2015, and will continue monthly. Call Kristy Andrews at 336-227-9808 to get involved.
