This spring semester regular sustainability tours will be offered at the Elon Environmental Center at Loy Farm and on main campus.
Individuals can learn more about Elon’s sustainability initiatives by registering for one of the regularly scheduled guided tours this spring. Tours of the Elon Environmental Center at Loy Farm will be offered on the second Friday of each month (February 12, March 11 & April 8). Tours on the main campus will be offered the last Friday of each month (February 26, March 25 & April 29). All tours will last one hour and take place from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Tours of the Elon Environmental Center at Loy Farm include the solar farm, urban studio and food and farming system operations. Parking is limited so transportation will be provided to and from the Environmental Center for the tours.
There are two different campus tours. The first campus tour in February is of the LEED Silver certified Inman Admissions Welcome Center. The campus tours in March and April are short walking tours that give a brief overview of Elon’s sustainability initiatives.
Tour registration is required and open to students, staff and faculty. The last day to register is the Wednesday prior to the selected tour.
