The Elon University Executive Internship Program is now open to applicants interested in applying for the 6-year cohort. In addition to working with senior staff members and developing leadership skills, students have the opportunity to develop organizational management and administration skills through the lens of higher education. Interns have the opportunity to attend customized sessions through Student Professional Development Center focusing on professionalism and networking.

Throughout the year, interns attend meetings with the Board of Trustees and the Presidential Advisory Council, as well as events such as football and basketball games and Evening for Elon. Previous students who participated in the program have gone on to work in multiple settings including private and public higher education institutions, law, politics, and Fortune 500 companies. Among many of the projects that have been completed through the program include Are You Ready, a program for incoming Elon Students and Elon Day, a campaign encouraging alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to celebrate by wearing maroon and gold, make a gift to the university, and spread the word about Elon on social media.
