KCSL: Computer and Tech Savvy Volunteers Needed to Help Residents at Twin Lakes

Computer and tech-savvy volunteers needed to help residents at Twin Lakes. Volunteer times flexible.

Are you computer and tech savvy? Do you like working with older adults? If so, Twin Lakes Community has the perfect opportunity for you. In a world where technology is constantly changing, it can be challenging for those who have limited experience with computer and modern day technology. Many of our residents would like help with setting up an email account, exploring our resident portal, navigating computer basics, exploring social media, skyping with family, and even assistance with new toys such tablets and smartphones.

We are looking for several volunteers to help with teaching them how to use some of these modern day technologies. This opportunity permits some flexibility with scheduling, and would only be through the end of May, with the option to extend into the summer. All volunteers must attend our volunteer orienation. Volunteer orientations are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 4:30pm in the Gathering Room of the Fitness Center at Twin Lakes.
