Elon University School of Law alumni celebrated the launch of the school’s second alumni chapter on June 28 at a reception in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Raleigh Alumni Chapter will serve as Elon Law’s first North Carolina alumni chapter. Elon Law launched its inaugural chapter in May in Washington, D.C.

Amber Allen L’14 and Haynes Dallas G’05 L’09 will serve three-year terms as the first chapter chair and vice chair, respectively. Both will endeavor to connect and reconnect Elon Law alumni from all regions of the Raleigh-Durham area.

At the launch event, remarks were offered from Elon Law Dean Luke Bierman, Elon Law Board of Advisors Member Alfred (“A.P.”) Carlton, Jr., Elon Law Assistant Dean for Development LaDaniel Gatling II, and Elon Law Alumni Director Gwendolyn Lewis L’13.

“With the launch of our second alumni chapter and first in North Carolina, the Elon Law Alumni Association has strengthened its connection to alumni in an even greater way,” Lewis said. “As Elon Law approaches its 10-year anniversary, we have much to celebrate. Undoubtedly, the continued growth and development of our alumni program is among our many successes.

“We have tremendous alumni, dedicated to their alma mater and willing to say yes when there is a call to serve.”
