December Break Hours: Student Health Services 

Health Services

In the event of a medical or psychological emergency call 9-1-1

Student Health Services will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14 and will remain closed until  8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Administrative staff only will be available M-F, 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Dec. 21.

Counseling Services 

In the event of a medical or psychological emergency call 9-1-1;  If there is a  mental health crisis and you would like to to speak to the Counselor on Call anytime Counseling Services is closed, call Campus Safety and Police at (336) 278-5555. This includes anytime during the holiday break period.

Counseling Services will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 and will remain closed until  8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2.

Office of the Dean of Students/Student Concerns Outreach and The Student Life Emergency Response Staff

Medical or mental helath/psychological emergencies should be directed to 9-1-1 for immediate response. All other emeregencies should be directed to The Student Life Emeregency Response Staff  by calling Campus Safety and Police at (336) 278-5555. 

The Office of the Dean of Students/Student Concerns Outreach will close at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2.  For more information about non-emergency Student Concerns Outreach, visit our website at:

The Student Life Emergency Response System is available to respond to all student emergency/crisis concerns, including incidents that occur on evenings, weekends, and over breaksIf a situation is not a medical or psychological emergency, but immediate administrative or clinical support is needed, please call Campus Safety and Police at (336) 278-5555 to reach the on-call staff. Campus Safety and Police will contact the most appropriate staff member for response.
