Hamel presents animal behavior research at Toronto conference

Jen Hamel, assistant professor of biology, presented research at the Animal Behavior Society 2017 conference in Toronto, Ontario.

Assistant Professor Jen Hamel of Elon’s Department of Biology presented research at the annual Animal Behavior Society conference​ in Toronto, Ontario.

ABS 2017, the annual conference of the Animal Behavior Society, was held June 12-17 at the University of Toronto-Scarborough. 

Hamel presented preliminary findings from work conducted in summer 2016 with assistance from her research students and funding from an Elon Faculty Summer Fellowship. The presentation, “Hybridization between two insect species: connecting behavior and ecology with consequences,” was part of the conference poster session.
