The Elon World Percussion Ensemble would like for you to find your inner rhythm – and get college credit for it!
The ensemble has been in existence for 10 years and is under the direction of Adjunct Instructor in Music Jim Roberts. The class meets on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:10 p.m. in Arts West, Studio C.
Hand drum techniques that are applicable to Africa, Cuba and Brazil are taught and experienced through live playing every class. No experience is required.
If you have never played drums – now is your chance! All you have to have is desire. Drums are provided and the class counts for 1 expression credit. No audition required. Sign up for MUS106G.
