Two undergraduate students and two faculty members from the School of Education presented at the 2017 N.C. Association of Colleges of Teacher Education Fall Forum.
Elon School of Education faculty and students gave two different presentations at the 2017 N.C. Association of Colleges of Teacher Education Fall Forum, held in Raleigh, N.C. on Sept. 20-22.
Amanda Cassaday ’18 and Stefania Monti ’18, both special education & elementary education majors, collaborated with Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, to give a 45-minute presentation titled “How and Why Educators Use Pinterest.” The presentation was based on undergraduate research conducted by Cassaday and Monti under Carpenter’s guidance.
Carpenter and Scott Morrison, assistant professor of education, gave a presentation titled “Twitter Chats as Spaces for Teacher Candidate Professional Growth” that highlighted the School of Education’s #ElonEd Twitter chats.
