Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Policy Studies Damion Blake participated in Eastern Carolina University’s biannual diversity seminar series on Oct. 19. The theme for this year was labeled “Navigating Free Speech and Safe Spaces in Academia.”
Blake was invited to be a speaker where he conducted a workshop seminar entitled “Voice and Agency for Instructors Teaching Race in a Politically Charged Climate.”
