Elon’s Global Education Center is now accepting submissions for its annual Photo Contest.
You may submit one photo per person, per category for any of the following three categories: Stories, States, and Scenes. To enter, please email a high-resolution photo, in .jpg or .png format, to gecphotocontest@gmail.com with your name, class year, location of photo, preferred category, and brief description or caption.
Submissions will be accepted between April 16 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Voting will be conducted through the Elon Global Facebook page from Monday, April 23 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 29. Please read the official rules and submission guidelines on the Global Photo Contest webpage before submitting your entry.
The overall winner with the most Facebook reactions on their photo will win a $350 voucher on the airline of his/her choice, courtesy of Aladdin Travel. The winners in each category will win a local gift card. Additionally, all photos will automatically be nominated for the Global Education Center (GEC) Staff’s Choice award. The GEC staff will nominate and vote upon photos internally to select the photo the tells the most compelling story from the perspective of experiential and international educators. The winner of this award will also receive a local gift card.
